Black magic Cinema Camera vs Canon 5DMIII

Video Review of Black magic cinema camera by Philip Bloom

This is by far one of the most detailed and in depth look at the camera on a very very practical and 'in the field' trial of the camera,

Below is Philip Blooms documentary 'Ponte Tower' which you can watch here and then read over some of the background things he had to deal with in shooting this mini documentary...

Do read the write up it shed SOOO much light on the whole nuance of shooting with the BMCC, I for one definitely feel like I'm getting more of a sense of the camera.

As the camera ops reading this will tell you, every camera has a 'feel' and 'character' of its own, and the BMCC definitely has its very unique place in the world of tools of this trade.

What are your takes on this?

Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera Test -

I found this review on www.MG25.com - A Korean motion graphics videography team.
http://mg25.com/mgview/?HT=customview_view&page=1&idx=3602

it isn't actually in English so the trust Google Translate was put into play so you'll have to excuse the grammar on some parts...

The images tell the bulk of the story with words pretty much just adding detail,
I was keen to notice the difference between what was shown on the LCD on the body of the BMC and the look that was displayed on the TV screen above,

What are your thoughts?

Black Magic Design Cinema Camera for SALE!!!

Was delighted to see see this,

Cory Braun is having his BMC delivered in just a matter of hours and has offerred it for sale 'for an offer he cant refuse'

This really will show how much we as visual artists want to get hold of this camera,

the posts I read were onwww.bmcuser.net and  www.reduser.net
- http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?87900-For-Sale-Blackmagic-Cinema-Camera

"Well my Blackmagic Cinema Camera is arriving tomorrow. I'm most likely going to keep it, but if someone wants to make me an offer that I can't refuse, it will be hard for me to turn it down. If you want the camera unopened (and obviously unused), make me an offer by tomorrow afternoon and I will ship it to you brand new."

send him a personal message and hopefully he lets us all know round about what he got for it...

Until then...
